Streams in the Desert is a local Cambodian Medical NGO located in Phnom Penh, started in 2015 under the ministry of the International Baptist Church of Phnom Penh.

STREAMS IN THE DESERT MISSION

Despite Cambodia’s healthcare significant improvement, access to quality care remains problematic, particularly for poor rural Cambodians. Streams in the Desert’s mission is provide medical care rural areas in 12 partnered provinces and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Initiatives

  • Compassionate Medical Clinics

    Through the permission of the Ministry of Health, we travel to the provinces and do village medical clinics for the underserved Cambodian community.

  • Outreach & Evangelism

    As we go and follow Christ’s example of compassion for the sick (Matthew 9:35-38), we also share Christ’s incredible love displayed at the cross and His gift of forgiveness for every precious soul.

  • Church Planting

    We strive to disciple our new believers and organize local churches in the provinces where we have held our medical clinics.
